Step 1: Contract + Retainer

Once you’re ready to officially lock in your session, I’ll send over your contract. This just helps keep everything clear and organized for both of us!

After that, you’ll pay your retainer to secure your spot on my calendar—this is what officially makes it yours!

Step 2: Let’s Pick the Perfect Date

Next, we’ll work together to nail down a date that fits your schedule and gives us the best lighting and vibe for your session. Whether you already have something in mind or need help deciding, I’ve got you!

Step 3: Getting to Know You

As we get closer to your session, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire.

No matter if it’s a senior session or family photos, this helps me get to know you better—your style, your vision, your people. This is a huge part of how I make your session feel natural, personal, and so you.

Step 4: Planning + Styling Help

Don’t stress about what to wear or how to prepare—I’ve got tons of resources for you!

I’ll send over style guides, helpful tips, and little nuggets of advice to make planning easy and fun. From outfit ideas to session prep, you won’t be going into this blind.

Step 5: I’m Always Here for You

Have a question? Need help deciding between outfits? Not sure which location to choose?

I am always just a phone call or email away! I truly want this to be an easy, enjoyable experience for you, and I’m here whenever you need a little extra guidance or reassurance along the way.

Step 6: Life happens (And wather does too!)

Okay… but what if the weather is not cooperating or someone gets sick?

I get it—life happens! And let’s be honest… no one wants to be out in 60 mph winds (especially my Nebraska people—you know exactly what I’m talking about 😅).

If something comes up, don’t stress. I’ll help make the call when needed, and we will work together to reschedule for a time that works for both of us. Your experience (and your photos!) matter way too much to force it in less-than-ideal conditions.

Step 7: Whew… We Did It! Now What?!

Your session is done—yay!!! 🙌

Now it’s your turn to take a deep breath and relax… and my turn to get to work behind the scenes! I’ll begin the editing process, carefully going through your images to make sure they look their absolute best.

Turnaround time is typically 2–3 weeks, but during busy season it can be 3–4 weeks. I promise it’s worth the wait!

Once your gallery is ready, your images will be delivered in a high-resolution online album where you can download all of your photos and start enjoying them right away!
