19 Years & Counting 🤍

Today, my husband and I celebrate 19 years of marriage.

Nineteen. Whole. Years.

We signed a 50-year contract, so he’s officially stuck with me for 31 more years. 😉

The real question is… think he’ll allow a contract extension when we hit the big 5-0?

But in all seriousness—how lucky am I that I got to marry my best friend? These 19 years have been filled with it all: exceptional times, hard times, trying times, and truly the best of times. The common thread through every season has been Christ, love, understanding, and forgiveness. Neither of us are perfect (shocking, I know). We’re both a tad stubborn… but we love hard, and we genuinely like being each other’s friend—and that matters more than I ever realized when we were younger. As we inch closer to becoming empty nesters (nope… not gonna cry yet), I’m reminded that we’re going to be just fine when we finally have more time to spend together. 😂 Oh, the adventures we’ll go on.

But for now, we’ll keep chasing after our kids, cheering them on, and helping them live their very best lives.
